Michael Best Strategies’ Principal Karen Timberlake will join an elite roster of leaders on a new Health Policy Advisory Council for Wisconsin Governor-elect Tony Evers and Lieutenant Governor-elect Mandela Barnes’ transition team.
The council will work with the transition team and advise on “policy matters relating to the Department of Health Services, Office of Commissioner of Insurance, and Department of Employee Trust Funds, and numerous state boards focused on health care,” and help develop a health care plan that includes increased health care coverage.
“I’m honored to have the opportunity to support Governor-Elect Evers and Lt. Governor-Elect Barnes as they seek to identify the best ideas to advance better health and health care value for everyone in Wisconsin,” said Timberlake.
