As we advised in our November 12 Michael Best Strategies Alert, President Joe Biden signed the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill – the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act – into law (P.L. 117-58) on November 15.
The legislation provides hundreds of billions of dollars to improve the nation’s highways, bridges and roads; passenger rail; public transit; broadband access; and the power grid, among other investments in physical infrastructure.
In order to provide you with more detail on the legislation, the Federal team at Michael Best Strategies has prepared two slide decks for your background information:
- The first slide deck – the “Infrastructure, Investment and Jobs Act Key Provisions” – provides a sector-by-sector look at the bipartisan infrastructure legislation, including key provisions and revenue sources.
- The second slide deck – the “Infrastructure, Investment and Jobs Act State Allocations” – provides an overview of state funding distributions in the infrastructure legislation by sector.
