Governor Tony Evers (D-Plymouth) released five new ads this week. According to AdImpact, Evers has $2.2 million in paid media spending reserved for this week. The first spot features members of law enforcement who say Evers handled the civil unrest in Kenosha in 2020 appropriately. The second ad disputes claims made by GOP candidate Tim Michels that Evers has been releasing violent criminals from prison early. The third ad claims Michels has encouraged violence from his supporters. The fourth ad alleges Michels Corp. has a workplace culture that enables sexual harassment. The fifth ad features former President Barack Obama urging people to vote for Evers.
