With over 15 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, political strategy, public affairs and event management, Tory is a seasoned leader and strategist. She brings cross-sector experience to her role as Managing Director at Michael Best, having worked in politics, government, and the private sector.
Serving across the Michael Best family of companies, Tory oversees the bi-partisan Board of Advisors. She is a leader in business development initiatives, developing client relationships, and political engagement. She is a strategic and innovative planner, collaborating across industries and teams to achieve strategic growth and deliver wins on behalf of clients and the firm.
Before joining Michael Best, Tory was at the White House, serving as Special Assistant to the President and Director of White House Events and Presidential Scheduling. In this role, Tory was responsible for strategic planning and implementation for the Executive Office of the President, managing communications and working closely with key departments and agencies across the Administration, United States Secret Service, and the White House Military Office.
Additionally, Tory spent 10 years at the Republican National Committee (RNC) managing political stakeholder engagement and led large scale, multi-faceted national and international events. Tory collaborated with elected local and state political leaders, campaigns, fundraising efforts, and the media across the country. As a senior leader at the RNC, Tory successfully led external strategic initiatives and engagements to drive the organization’s political and institutional objectives.
