At Michael Best Strategies, Patrick works on a wide variety of issues including housing & finance, food & agriculture, energy & environment, tax, and trade. In addition to intensive, research and advocacy-based client servicing, Patrick oversees all client communications, including customized news and issues monitoring for daily newsletters, weekly and bi-weekly reports to clients, and all relevant client alerts that originate out of the Michael Best Strategies federal practice.

Patrick has been very active in politics since he volunteered for President Obama’s first and second campaigns as a middle and high school student on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. While in college, he volunteered for Monty Mason for Delegate of District 93 in Williamsburg, VA; served as a campaign strategist for Virginia’s 1st District congressional candidate, Norm Mosher; and interned on Capitol Hill for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in 2014. He also worked extensively with the Senate Democratic Steering & Outreach Committee while on Capitol Hill.
Patrick was elected in the 2018 Maryland Democratic Primary to serve on the Talbot County Democratic Central Committee in Talbot County, Maryland. He has served as Vice Chair and currently serves as Secretary. Patrick recruits and organizes volunteers, manages the digital outreach strategy for Talbot Democrats, and monitors a robust candidate pipeline for the Mid-Shore region of Maryland. Patrick has also been certified by the National Democratic Training Committee to conduct political training seminars for candidates, volunteers, organizers, and activists on political strategy, as well as communications and social media ‘best practices.’
