Jon’s Expertise: Government Relations, Strategic Communications, and Legislative Affairs

Prior to joining Strategies, Jon served as a Strategic Account Executive at start-up sales and marketing platform JumpCrew where he helped clients achieve their objectives by identifying key influencers and stakeholders, establishing new relationships with target connections, and nurturing existing partnerships to boost revenue generation.

Jon also served as a Principal at Labadie Public Affairs where he collaborated closely with clients to further their strategic goals and priorities. His work involved establishing strategic relationships and partnerships, enhancing client profiles, and providing guidance on navigating the legislative process and political landscape to ensure alignment with his clients’ missions.

During Jon’s tenure as a Senior Associate at Mendez, Barkis and Associates, Jon specialized in crafting and implementing electoral and legislative strategies across a diverse array of policy areas, such as healthcare, civil rights, the state’s budget, and small businesses. Jon cultivated relationships with leaders spanning the political spectrum, negotiated with stakeholders and prospective clients and managed coalitions to work towards shared goals.

Earlier, Jon worked as a Legislative Aide for Senator Jeanne Nicholson (D-Colorado). While there, Jon managed the office overseeing a team of three interns responsible for tasks such as bill tracking, constituent outreach, and status reporting to caucus leadership.
