This is Tami’s 4th consecutive year making the Hill’s list and Sarah’s 2nd.

Tami Jackson Buckner
As a Partner with Michael Best Strategies (Strategies), Tami assists businesses and organizations with government relations and federal policy matters. She has significant expertise in the areas of agriculture, food, nutrition, energy, and the environment. Tami leverages her 25 years of experience and the network she has developed to offer clients critical insights and actionable advice to help them deliver value for their shareholders and society.
Tami has spent more than two decades advising Fortune 500 companies, developing deep policy expertise on a range of issues. She joined Michael Best Strategies from Waste Management, where she led the federal legislative and political function in Washington, D.C. Previously, Tami held corporate leadership positions in government and public affairs at Kraft Foods, Coca-Cola, and DuPont Company.
Sarah Helton
Sarah helps Strategies clients successfully navigate the federal government by developing and implementing legislative and regulatory strategies that create market opportunities, mitigate challenges, and help companies positively brand themselves. Sarah positions companies to be proactive rather than reactive to legislation and regulation. Her policy practice includes procurement, trade, technology, privacy, education, and labor.
Sarah leads Michael Best Strategies’ procurement practice where we work to position our clients for success when doing business with the federal government. We provide one team that our clients can go to throughout the entire procurement process, whether it is government relations, business development, and legal services.
